NYC Constructors LLC (New York, NY) seeks a Field Engineer. Field engineer supports the construction management team and oversees project-based activities on structural steel related projects. Field engineer is the direct contact with the design team (Engineer & architect) for any field related structural/architectural issues such as steel bolting, welding, member fit up and connections. Use of engineering programs such as Tekla Structures, Trimble connect, Autocad daily that ensures the project team can continue to fabricate and erect structural steel correctly. Consults with Foremen and the Project Manager on scheduling all structural steel members and components associated with steel members such as bolts, decking and the 2 week lookahead which outlines daily activities of the jobsit
