CACI seeks a Quality Director to lead the quality management system for a $500M+ operating group which designs, develops, manufactures, fields, and supports mission critical communications, EW, SIGINT, EO/IR and Cyber systems. We are seeking a high-caliber, hands-on leader with commercial product development and manufacturing background along with working knowledge of US Government quality standards supporting a geographically dispersed R&D, system engineering and manufacturing organization.
What You’ll Get to Do:
You will report to the National Security and Innovative Solutions (NSIS) Sector Performance Excellence Executive Director and directly support the Technology, Innovation and Labs (TIL) Operating Group Manager. In this role, you will lead quality management functions across multiple locations conducting cutting edge R&D leading to manufacture of new and innovative communications, EW, SIGINT, EO/IR and Cyber technologies.

As a member of the operating group senior leadership team, you will contribute to the development and deployment of processes, templates, training, and tools that contribute significantly to the reduction of project risk and the achievement of customer satisfaction. This position may sit at one of the following CACI operating group (OG) manufacturing locations: Westminster, CO or Florham Park, NJ. Regular travel to the other OG locations is required. This OG has an international office located in Australia and travel to that location may be required.
You will:
- Develop and ensure successful application of the Operating Group’s Quality Management System
- Represent CACI and the operating group in direct communication with Commercial and Government customer quality personnel
- Work with quality professionals directly reporting to OG program managers
- Perform the work of the Quality Engineering, Control and Assurance functions at either Florham Park, NJ or Westminster, CO locations.
- Facilitate continuous improvement
- Lead the Performance Management program providing accurate and actionable performance information to operating group leaders.
- Facilitate identification of proactive performance measures.
- Plan and execute the audit program to monitor performance and ensure compliance to multiple operating group requirements which include AS9100, ISO-9001 and various specific contractually required quality requirements
- Lead and execute the preventive and corrective action program
- Work with the Subcontracts team to monitor Subcontractor performance
- Support development and review of proposals
- Support Corporate and Sector quality programs and initiatives
- This position requires on-site support in classified and unclassified; laboratory; and manufacturing environments
Requirements:
- BS degree in a business or technical field and 10 years directly related experience
- 5+ years as a Quality Manager
- 5+ years commercial product development/manufacturing
- Must be able to collaborate across a geographically dispersed, matrixed workforce
- Must be able to influence across organizational leadership and work with the Operating Group Leadership
- Proven success developing processes and leading quality initiatives for development and manufacturing organizations
- Proven success in developing quality enhancing processes and procedures
- Demonstrated experience leading or performing quality control activities including development of inspection plans, performing inspections, or supervising quality control operations.
- Proven expertise in AS9100, ISO-9001 or CMMI-Dev level 3
- Working knowledge of government contracting, especially Quality FAR/DFAR clauses, Quality Assessment Surveillance Plans (QASP) and Quality Management Plans (QMP)
- Working knowledge of DCMA processes and procedures
- Must be eligible for TS/SCI clearance
