The Senior Compliance Analyst will provide quality and food safety compliance leadership for the Wauconda manufacturing
site. He/she will provide leadership and management support to the assigned manufacturing facility. This role provides
collaborative leadership to ensure compliance to quality policies and government regulations through the implementation of
programs such as FSP/HACCP, prerequisite programs, cGMP’s, traceability, FSMA, SQF compliance. This position
ensures that the facility is properly supported and trained to execute quality responsibilities while maintaining customer and
vendor satisfaction.

? Manage the development, implementation, and effective operation of quality systems in the facility
? Lead training programs to comply with, FDA, cGMPs, SOPs, food safety requirements, and company policies
? Responsible for undertaking the responsibilities as the site Preventive Controls Qualified Individual as
outlined under the FDA’s Preventive Controls for Human Food regulation. Completing and maintaining
preparation of Food Safety Plans, the validation of Preventive Controls, the Review of Records
? Lead and responsible for implementation, documentation, control, and maintenance of quality programs to
support internal and customer/vendor compliance
? Complete facility and customer audits and manage Internal Pre-Requisite and Current Good Manufacturing
Programs (cGMPs), tracking corrective action as appropriate
? Lead routine and is the primary interface with regulators agency representatives at the facility
? Assist the Associate Director leading company Quality and Food Safety initiatives locally
? Manage and conduct vendor audits and compliance to site requirements.
? Take ownership and management of incidents and quality deviations according to internal standards, guiding
business stakeholders and decision
? Drive quality continuous improvement in the facility while partnering cross-functionally
? Partner with the plant leadership team to ensure all quality programs and systems are implemented
? Lead investigating customer/vendor complaints using root cause analysis, determining corrective actions and
preventive measures, responding to complaints in the required timeframe, and analyzing complaint trends
? Provides quality evaluation and release of support materials, products, equipment and facilities as required

• 5+ years of quality control/assurance experience applying skills in a comprehensive and hands-on manner
• Previous manufacturing quality industry experience

Competencies/Skills/Knowledge Required:
? Bachelor of Science in a related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Food Science
? Experience with HACCP, FSMA, SQF or equivalent Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) criteria
? Effective communication skills with the ability to influence change and encourage action
? Solid problem-solving abilities with the ability to coach and mentor others in this capacity

? Demonstrated excellence in priority setting and execution skills
? Able to handle multiple priorities. Ability to work independently
? Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff.
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
? Individual must have a hands-on approach
