Senior Professional Engineer, Pittsburgh Metro Area, Pennsylvania (Relocation Negotiable)

Company is looking for Professional Engineers for our Pittsburgh office. Each position would involve:

• Having current PE licensure, and being able to obtain a license within Pennsylvania.
• Working with an existing team of professional engineers (principals group) to ensure that each project has a principal engineer assigned to support the project manager by ensuring that our SOPs are followed, that proper checks occur, and that no work product leaves the office without qualified review. Note that members of the principals groups also have responsibilities within the departments for their disciplines.
• Supporting proposal preparation and project work as necessary.
• Supporting staff recruitment and development.

The role does not involve administrative oversight off all engineering activities (assignment of work), but it could, depending on the qualifications and interests of the candidate.

Position will report to the Engineering Manager. Position requires overnight travel, typically biweekly. 

The preferred candidate will have a PE, Bachelors or Masters degree in an appropriate discipline, 20 years plus experience in a process oriented or materials handling environment; construction and agricultural biogas (dairy, swine) experience is a plus. The successful candidates will have proven leadership skills, share knowledge, and will be adaptable.
