Bioimaging Postdoc

| Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is a multidisciplinary research institution engaged in science and engineering on behalf of national security. The Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies (CINT) and the Bioenergy and Biome Science (B-11) groups at LANL are seeking a Bioimaging Postdoc to exploit new imaging methods using entangled photon pairs to monitor plant vitality and health. This is a large, multidisciplinary project involving experts in time-resolved imaging, quantum optics and plant biology.
The successful candidate will collect and analyze plant images exploiting a new-label, free imaging method being developed by other members of this cross-disciplinary team. The successful candidate also will perform conventional biochemical and biological methods of monitoring water content and biomass accumulation in plants.
