This is a 12-month tenure-track position with 40% teaching, 55% research, and 5% service responsibilities.  Teaching responsibilities include introductory and upper-level courses, some with laboratory sections. Courses include an introductory freshman course, shared courses on drone use and applications, agricultural machinery and implements, and an upper-level precision agriculture course. In addition to teaching, the appointee will develop a regionally, nationally, and internationally recognized research program related to developing and improving adoption of on-farm technology and promoting long-term sustainable farming practices.
