Aerospace Engineer
The incumbent serves as an Aerospace Engineer performing basic and routine (but progressively more difficult) assignments under close direction and detailed instruction provided by a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced engineer. Work is reviewed frequently during assignments and at completion for all aspects of quality. Applies basic knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and concepts in order to accomplish aerospace engineering assignments. Incumbent is responsible for applying safety management principles using experience and engineering knowledge and risk management techniques in one or more of the technical disciplines in AIR.
