The City of Lincoln is seeking a City Engineer who is a talented, innovative leader and proven manager. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of and a vision for the challenges of municipal engineering; have a strategic, forward-thinking approach; demonstrate cross-functional knowledge; and anticipate customer needs and consistently exceed them. A successful candidate will be capable of leading and managing successfully in a fast-paced environment with a diverse workload.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field; the equivalent of ten (10) years of increasingly responsible experience in public works; five (5) years in a supervisory or management capacity; possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Civil Engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Civil and Professional Engineers; and possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid class C California driver’s license.
