Our engineering positions perform functions in the design and operations of gas and water distribution facilities. May assist with the redesign of existing facilities, reviews and evaluates material items used in our system. May perform general to advance engineering functions depending upon your background. Design system replacement and renewal projects for the natural gas and water distribution system.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in applicable engineering discipline from a school with a program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology is required.  A minimum of five years of recent engineering design experience applicable to the - natural gas or water industries is required with utility experience preferred.  Seven or more years of recent engineering design experience in an applicable field will be acceptable in lieu of the five years of specific experience.

LICENSING/CERTIFICATION:

 A valid Missouri PE Registration Certificate is required; PE licensure from another state will allow for hiring at the Engineer III level but applicant will be required to obtain a Missouri PE license within twelve months.  Exceptional utility engineering experience beyond the minimum requirements may be considered in lieu of a PE license.  A valid driver’s license (minimum Class F) is required.
