Assistant Professor, Cell & Developmental Biology
The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) invites applications for a full-time tenure stream appointment, in the area of Plant Cell and Developmental Biology. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, with the expected start date of July 1, 2022 or shortly thereafter. The successful candidate will use molecular genetics and cutting-edge approaches such as advanced imaging and computational modeling to study mechanisms of cell and developmental biology.  We are particularly interested in applicants focusing on cell proliferation, cell-to-cell communication, or cell signaling in response to endogenous (e.g. hormone) and/or environmental cues.
