Research Post-Doctoral Fellow in Genetic Epidemiology/Statistical Genetics
Our team at the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research (DOR) is seeking a Research Post-Doctoral Fellow (100% FTE for at least 2 years) interested in research projects related to human genetics and genomics, with a focus on identifying genetic factors which influence complex traits, diseases and their treatments. The Research Post-Doctoral Fellow will work under the supervision of Dr. Hélène Choquet (Research Scientist and Principal Investigator) on a variety of NIH-funded projects including: (a) studying the genetics of eye diseases, such as glaucoma; (b) investigating the genetic factors underlying nonmelanoma skin cancers; and (c) studying the genetic mechanisms that drive the development of abdominal hernias.  These projects will integrate advanced genetic
