Stormwater Project Engineer
Stormwater Engineering Division is an integral component of Manatee County Public Works Department with respect to stormwater master planning and regulatory compliance.  The Division is actively modernizing stormwater management plans of county watersheds through intricate drainage modeling utilizing Interconnected Channel and Pond Routing Model (ICPR4) and Hydrologic Engineering Center River Analysis System (HEC-RAS).  These Watershed Management Plans (WMP), funded cooperatively through Manatee County and Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD), provide updated floodplain delineation incorporated into Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) through map amendments.   In conjunction with the Watershed Management Plan deliverables, project
