Description Under general supervision, prepares civil engineering designs and specifications for the more difficult and less routine phases of major municipal engineering projects. Examples of Duties Analyzes project scope. Reviews and evaluates field conditions and data. Develops and designs engineering solutions. Manages preparation of engineering construction plans. Ensures construction is in conformance with plans, specifications, budget, codes and applicable standards. Manages and interprets construction projects and plans. Creates project documents. Prepares and maintains records and reports. Oversees, supervises, and inspects work of co
