Job Description

• Sales and Project Engineering.  Perform preliminary engineering and design of air pollution control systems, for proposal generation purposes, based on the specific requirements of each application, including gathering and analyzing customer information, technology(ies) selection, preliminary equipment sizing, material of construction selection, preliminary instrumentation and controls planning, proposal-level CAD drawing of mechanicals, and proposal writing. For awarded projects, perform final/detailed engineering of the system, oversee the controls & instrumentation engineering, and generate 2D & 3D drawings (3D when required) and other data sheets as required for the project.  
• Project Management.  Manage internal and external suppliers to produce and deliver high-quality air pollution control systems and services to customers, while meeting project requirements for system performance and quality, timeliness, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction. Communicate with customers effectively and efficiently during projects to address customer needs and promote a positive customer experience. Have full accountability for financial performance of the project, working with APC accounting on customer billing and vendor payments.
• Field Work.  Perform work at customer sites including system start-ups, customer training, and annual inspections or other support work after systems are operational. Interface effectively with customers and prepare reports summarizing site work performed, observations, results. 

Candidate Preferred Capabilities – Engineering degree required. Preferred degrees include Chemical, Mechanical, Civil and/or Environmental Engineering. The candidate will preferably have approximately 5 – 10 years of job experience with progressively more responsibility. Experience interfacing with customers is preferred but not required. Expertise with 2D and 3D CAD is strongly preferred but not required. APC will provide training regarding emission control technologies and other aspects of job performance as appropriate.  Ability to work independently and remotely while also collaborating and effectively communicating with APC team members across the board.
