 Project and database manager for the turning movement database (Miovision). Ensures all turning movement count data is uploaded into MS2. 
 Responsible for developing and managing the State Planning and Research (SPR) TDC Program using the online portal that tracks staff reporting and yearly budget for TDC expenditures. 
 Responsible for moving vendor created maintenance management database for continuous count stations into VueWorks to track maintenance activities at all permanent count stations. 
 Coordinates the work activity necessary to complete project related requests for traffic data, including analysis and finalization of data and preparing correspondence to the originating unit. 
 Coordinate with MassDOT GIS group and the TDC consultant to maintain Active Traffic Count Station Application. 
 Liaison between other MassDOT business units in the development of transportation plans by reviewing requests for data and presenting ways to fulfill the requirements needed to get the requested results. This includes reviewing plans, presenting recommendations with follow-through to the presentation of data. 
 Assists in the processing of Vendor purchase and payments. Shows proficiency in filling out the required financial forms and processes required to procure and extend vendor contracts. Keeps accurate, up to date records on all vendors, vendor purchases and payments. Processes vendor purchases and payments using MMARS.&#xa0; This includes encumbering funds, creating payments and modifications for equipment, supplies and services. 
 Responsible for implementation of special count field operations and ordering Turn Studies through Vendor&#8217;s web site. Responsible for uploading all special counts and vendor counts into MassDOT&#8217;s traffic data platform (MS2). 
 Responsible for all QA/QC checks and resolving any issues that arise with continuous count station data and the Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) and Travel Monitoring Analysis System (TMAS) data submittal. 
 Trains staff in proper traffic data collection techniques and analysis procedures. Makes sures all Standard Operator Procedures (SOP) and guidelines are kept up to date. Develop any missing SOPs and guidelines. 
 Ensure that field crews are adequately trained in Work Zone safety as it pertains to the TDC section. Works with Safety Team to provide yearly training to field staff on Work Zone safety for count installations and removals and field maintenance of TDC cabinets. 
 Represents MassDOT in the TDC area at meetings. Is a subject matter expert in Traffic Data Collection. Interacts with other sections, vendors, and equipment providers on TDC issues to make sure all needs are met. 
 Recommends and approves equipment needs, new systems and stays up to date on traffic data collection techniques, including loops, radar, cameras and other technologies that come on the market. Interacts with vendors on the procurement, testing, and evaluation of products to ensure that desired results are being achieved. Develop special provisions and standard details for new equipment.
