We’re looking for a driven, self-motivated sales professional to grow our presence across the Southwest USA. If you’re a passionate and experienced laboratory distribution sales representative, this opportunity is for you.
What You’ll Do
Develop and manage business within the Southwest USA territory.
Focus on hospitals, clinical labs, reference labs, research facilities, and physician-owned labs.
Promote and sell histology, pathology, and other laboratory products – consumables and equipment.
Identify and qualify new business through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Deliver impactful sales presentations tailored to client needs.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and account management teams for seamless onboarding.
Attend regional trade shows and events to represent Mercedes Scientific.
Travel up to 50%.
What You Bring
3+ years of successful outside sales experience in laboratory, histology, or medical distribution.
Strong understanding of histology workflows, products, and instrumentation.
Preference for candidates with distribution experience over manufacturing.
Proven ability to exceed sales goals and manage a territory effectively.
Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
Independent, self-starter mindset with strong time management skills.
Willingness to travel throughout the territory.
