 The&#xa0; Utilities Engineer &#xa0;performs difficult technical professional work in the&#xa0; Water/Wastewater Administration Department &#xa0;related to the planning, design, construction, and administration of a variety of public infrastructure projects. Works closely with other City Departments as well as NC Department of Transportation.

 Minimum Qualifications: 
 
 Bachelor&#8217;s degree in engineering 
 Four years of progressive engineering experience 
 Requires registration as Professional Engineer 
 Some supervisory experience 
 Valid NC driver&#8217;s license or valid out-of-state driver&#8217;s license with the ability to obtain a valid NC driver&#8217;s license within sixty days of employment and good driving record 
 
 Work Schedule 
 Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Paid bi-weekly. Must be able to attend meetings as required

								<description>Holly Springs, North Carolina,  The Town of Holly Springs is searching for a Development Engineering Manager to serve in the Development Services department. The Development Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the development review process including review of plans and engineering study in accordance with the Town&#8217;s growth goals, ordinances and standards. This position coordinates engineering activities with other Town departments and Divisions within the department, as well as affected Federal, State, town, regional and private agencies.

 What You&#8217;ll Do 
 
 Lead, supervise, and develop a team of engineering professionals; set priorities, conduct performance evaluations, and support recruitment and retention 
 Review engineering plans, building permits, and infrastructure proposals related to transportation, utilities, stormwater, and land disturbance 
 Provide technical guidance, interpret codes and ordinances, and resolve stakeholder conflicts 
 Represent the department at public meetings, workshops, and regional boards; prepare reports and presentations

 Qualifications 
 
 Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) 
 Minimum 5 years of municipal engineering experience, including design and/or plan review across the following areas of practice (utilities, transportation, stormwater, land disturbance) 
 At least 2 years of supervisory experience 
 Professional Engineer (PE) license required

 MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS &#8226;Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, or a related field. &#8226;Five (5) years&#8217; progressively responsible Municipal engineering including Review and design experience with civil engineering projects, with municipal utilities, transportation, stormwater and land disturbance. &#8226;Two (2) years supervisory experience. 
 OTHER REQUIREMENTS &#8226;Professional Engineer (PE) License required. &#8226;Must pass background and criminal history checks. 
 &#xa0; Full Pay range: $97,818.87 - $146,728.31 Annually
