 PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES not limited to: The prospective candidate will be responsible for supervising and implementing all aspects of clinical genetic testing including preanalytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing. The responsibilities include supervision of personnel involved in accessioning of the clinical and research samples, maintaining daily log and database entr&#xe9;e, performing DNA/RNA extractions from a variety of sample types, performing PCR, Capillary Electrophoresis, Southern Blot, Sanger sequencing, and real-time PCR following the testing protocols. Comply with all regulatory requirements of record keeping, quality control, and quality assurance mandated by NYS DOH and SCL standard operating procedures.  Position Summary 
 Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Capital Project Management, the Director of Project Management provides strategic and operational leadership for an assigned portion of the University&#8217;s capital project portfolio. The Director works closely with senior University leadership, internal stakeholders, and external partners to oversee the successful planning, design, construction, and closeout of projects of varying size and complexity.  Manage 30 to 40 projects within the assigned portfolio, ranging in value from $50,000 to more than $350 million, from inception through completion. You will have access to extensive germ-line genetic data, including full genome sequencing and methylation data, as well as a rich database of tumor sequencing data.  Work with one of the largest integrated medical records databases in the United States &#8212;containing comprehensive clinical information on more than 22 million patients &#8212; and leveraging large-scale genomic and clinical data resources to lead and collaborate on cutting-edge projects that explore the genetic architecture of disease. You will integrate large-scale genomic and clinical data, apply advanced statistical genetics methodologies such as genome-wide association studies (GWAS), polygenic risk modeling, and gene&#8211;environment interaction analyses, and help develop new analytical approaches that push the field forward.

 PRIMARY DUTIES:&#xa0; 
 
 Plan, design, and execute genetic epidemiology studies to identify genetic factors associated with diseases and health conditions. 
 Perform comprehensive statistical analyses, including genome-wide association studies (GWAS), polygenic risk score calculation, and gene-environment interaction analyses. 
 Organize, clean, and process large-scale clinical data. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the project lifecycle. 
 Integrate and manage large-scale genomic datasets with clinical and epidemiological data. 
 Develop and implement custom analytical pipelines for processing and analyzing genetic and genomic data. 
 Work on priorities for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely completion of project milestones. 
 Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including data scientists, statisticians, engineers, and clinicians, to develop and execute research projects. 
 Prepare detailed reports and presentations of findings for various stakeholders, including research partners, healthcare providers, and policymakers. 
 Participate in drafting and writing scientific manuscripts as applicable for project advancement. 
 Provide support to team members on genetic epidemiology methodologies and statistical genetic techniques.

 A&#xa0; postdoctoral research position &#xa0;is available immediately to join an interdisciplinary project focused on gibberellin (GA) signaling and transcriptional regulation in plants. We seek a&#xa0; highly motivated researcher &#xa0;with a strong background in&#xa0; protein chemistry, molecular genetics, genomics, and/or plant development . 
 GA perception by its nuclear receptor,&#xa0;GIBBERELLIN INSENSITIVE DWARF1 (GID1), triggers polyubiquitination and proteasomal degradation of the master growth regulators&#xa0;DELLA proteins &#xa0; via the &#xa0; SCF SLY1/GID2  E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. DELLA genes are known as   &#8220;Green Revolution&#8221; genes, as dominant mutations confer semi-dwarfism and significantly increased crop yields through reduced GA responsiveness. 
 DELLA proteins function as&#xa0;central signaling hubs ,  interacting with diverse transcription factors (TFs) to integrate hormonal and developmental signals. Recent studies show that DELLAs associate with both activated and repressed promoters, and that&#xa0;TF&#8211;DELLA&#8211;histone H2A complexes &#xa0; at target chromatin are essential for their regulatory activity. However, how DELLAs achieve interaction specificity and act as transcriptional coactivators or corepressors at distinct genes remains unclear. 
 This project uses&#xa0; structural, biochemical, and genomics approaches &#xa0;to address these questions and uncover fundamental mechanisms of plant growth regulation.

We seek a scholar-educator who applies genomic, transcriptomic, transformation, and molecular biology approaches and tools to uncover and test gene function in growth, development, and responses to abiotic and biotic stress in forest trees. The incumbent will develop research, teaching, and outreach that integrates molecular genetics and genomics with climate change ecology, forest health, sustainability, and/or management challenges.  Genomic/transcriptomic/proteomic/metabolomic (i.e., &#8220;omic&#8221;) analyses of tree responses to climate stresses (e.g., heat and drought) and pathogen outbreaks. 
 Use of advanced gene editing and synthetic biology methods suitable for trees, including but not limited to, Agrobacterium mediated-transformation, gene editing, and transient expression to help understand and enhance tree resistance to fungal and other pathogens, and abiotic stresses, to aid in forest restoration. 
 Development of socially and environmentally responsible biotechnology methods, including for gene editing, transformation methods, and related breeding techniques for trees. 
 Conducting functional genomic and gene expression studies that (a) advance understanding of the adaptive capacity of natural tree populations to global environmental change, and (b) elucidate floral and/or vegetative developmental processes to support translational applications in tree breeding and forest management under changing climates and associated pathogen and pest outbreaks.

 The Department of Pathology in the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia invites applications for a nine-month tenure track faculty position with a focus on AI. This position will be tenure track at the rank of Assistant Professor.  The Shift Supervisor provides technical front-line leadership for production operations during an assigned shift in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. The Shift Supervisor applies principles of mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering to drive exceptional operational performance through continuous improvement and equipment reliability.  DUTIES AND&#xa0;RESPONSIBILITIES 
 
 Provide technical guidance to operators while troubleshooting acute and chronic process issues to maintain manufacturing performance. 
 Analyze process variables, evaluate variation and controls, and lead root cause analysis of equipment and process failures in collaboration with leadership, engineering, and maintenance. 
 Drive manufacturing improvements by optimizing efficiency metrics (rate, yield, uptime, resource use, quality) and implementing new or enhanced production methods.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES Virtual Meetings &#38; Events Management &#8226; Serve as the organizational lead for planning and execution of all virtual meetings, webinars, and online engagement programs for WTS International and the WTS Foundation. &#8226; Manage event timelines, registration workflows, speaker coordination, rehearsals, and live event execution. &#8226; Provide technical oversight and moderation of virtual meeting platforms, including webinars and livestream events. &#8226; Develop and maintain organizational standards, templates, and best practices for virtual meetings and events. &#8226; Coordinate speaker communications, presentation materials, and event logistics. &#8226; Track attendance, engagement metrics, and post-event analytics to inform future programming improvements. &#8226; Provide real-time troubleshooting and technical support during virtual events. 
 Association &#38; Foundation Meetings and Events &#8226; Support planning and execution of association and foundation meetings and events, including but not limited to: o Annual Conference o Leadership Training o Board and Committee Meetings o Foundation programs and initiatives &#8226; Develop run-of-show documents, timelines, and operational plans. &#8226; Manage registration processes and attendee communications. &#8226; Coordinate vendors, travel logistics, and event materials as assigned. &#8226; Maintain the organizational master events calendar. &#8226; Provide onsite meetings and event support as requested. &#8226; Support hybrid event planning and engagement strategies. Engagement &#38; Program Support &#8226; Collaborate with WTS staff teams to maximize participation and engagement across meetings and events. &#8226; Provide logistical support to staff liaisons, committees, and volunteer leaders. &#8226; Ensure meetings and events reflect WTSI standards for professionalism, accessibility, and member value. &#8226; Recommend innovative engagement approaches for virtual and hybrid audiences. &#8226; Support engagement initiatives that advance WTSI strategic priorities. Operations &#38; Administrative Responsibilities &#8226; Manage and respond to Zendesk request and inquiries. &#8226; Manage event registration and maintain accurate event data within organizational systems. &#8226; Track event-related budgets, invoices, and vendor payments as assigned. &#8226; Maintain event documentation, templates, and operational procedures. &#8226; Support sponsorship fulfillment and partner engagement related to meetings and events. &#8226; Assist with post-event evaluations, surveys, and reporting. &#8226; Support cross-departmental projects and engagement initiatives as assigned. Leadership &#8226; Serve as staff liaison to committees, task forces, or working groups as assigned. &#8226; Represent WTSI and/or WTSF at meetings, programs, and industry events as requested. &#8226; Contribute to organizational initiatives that enhance member engagement and program delivery. &#8226; Other projects or duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor&#8217;s degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in meetings, events, or association program management. Experience managing virtual meetings and webinars is required. Experience working within nonprofit or association environments and supporting volunteer leadership is strongly preferred. The candidate must demonstrate strong organizational, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and individually. Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms, Microsoft Office programs, and event registration or association management systems is preferred.
