Post-doctoral research fellow
A post-doctoral research fellow position is available in the Department of Plant Sciences at North Dakota State University (NDSU) to conduct research on the post-harvest physiology of potato, with a specific emphasis on meristem dormancy and tuber sprouting. The project involves multi-omics (e.g., transcriptomics, metabolomics) data integration to identify and refine the regulatory molecular mechanisms and pathways that could serve as novel targets for manipulation of meristem dormancy in potato tubers.
