MDP Engineering is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with MEP industry experience to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects, mentoring and training staff, and designing and implementing complex electrical systems for commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects from start to finish
- Mentor and train junior engineers
- Design and implement complex electrical systems for commercial buildings
- Conduct field surveys, engineering calculations, and assessments of existing electrical systems
- Prepare reports, cost estimates, and specifications
- Collaborate with other engineers and departments

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
- Colorado PE license required
- 8+ years of professional experience in commercial building design projects
- Strong leadership, communication, technical, and organizational skills
- Experience managing a team of engineers
- Strong knowledge of building, energy, and electrical codes
- Experience with LEED Certified projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Visual, and REVIT
- Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
