Atlas Web Technologies, (a division of Atlas Roofing Corporation), is seeking a Project Engineer for Franklin, OH.
Project Engineer Primary Responsibilities
Familiar with manufacturing equipment and processes, including pumps, screens, tanks, valves, and web handling equipment.
Investigate manufacturing problems and recommend corrective actions.
Apply concepts of reliability and continuous improvement to positively impact site performance.
Develop project scope, design, and cost estimates for capital improvement projects.
Responsible for effectively executing capital projects on time and within budget, making sure performance criteria are met or exceeded.
Ability to work and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
Able to understand basic process control and P&ID drawings.
Works with outside contractors as needed to complete assignments on time and within budget.
Up to 50% travel to customers, vendors, and other Atlas facilities.
Project Engineer Experience
Minimum three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Previous Paper manufacturing (preferred)
Experience with various web coating techniques (preferred)
Project Engineer Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated project management skills.
Familiar with operation and maintenance of boilers and steam systems.
Advanced understanding process control, instruments, and techniques.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing Engineering from an accredited institution.
Licensed Professional Engineer
Project Engineer Additional Information

Communication – Ability to provide relevant and timely information in a clear manner both verbally and in writing. Able to respond to questions from employees and all levels of management.

Competent with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Project, Outlook
