The City of Novato Public Works Department manages the planning, construction, maintenance and operations of all city rights-of-way, properties, and facilities. The Department has a FY23-24 operating budget of $8.3 million with 46 positions. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking public works professional who displays a broad range of knowledge and experience in public works operations, maintenance, and capital project management.  This hands-on manager will display a flexible style with the ability to lean in where needed to get the job done.
