Job Summary: Responsible for traffic engineering for the geographic region assigned. Works under the direction of the Transportation System Maintenance and Operations (TSMO) Operational Traffic and Safety Group Manager but also coordinates extensively with the District Engineer. Exercises considerable and significant independent judgment within established program parameters, policies and procedures, and is the ADOT TSMO liaison within the Region. Manages all personnel within the multiple units including other engineers, supervisors, and non-supervisory staff involved in traffic engineering. Extended hours may be required.
