The Department of Information and Operations Management at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University, invites applications for a full-time tenured/tenure-track faculty position in the areas of Information Systems or Supply Chain Management, beginning Fall 2024. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, depending on qualifications.
Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the advancement of knowledge through high quality publications in leading academic journals, to teach courses with rigorous academic content at the undergraduate, masters, and/or doctoral level, and to engage in service and outreach activities that advance the educational mission of the department, the school, and the university. Applicants for this position should possess an earned doctorate in information systems, supply chain management, or a related field.
The INFO Department has 22 tenured/tenure-track faculty, 11 clinical faculty, 8 lecturers, a doctoral program, 480 undergraduate majors (250 IS and 230 Supply Chain), and 210 MS-MIS students. The department is highly active in research. Texas A&M ranks 4th worldwide in publishing in Journal of Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, and Manufacturing and Service Operations Management from 2017-2023 (Source: UT-Dallas top 100). Collectively, the faculty hold 18 editorial positions in the top journals of the field.
