The Corporate Communications Marketing Manager oversees internal communications and supports external marketing activities, as needed, across GZA by providing guidance, assistance, and evaluation of company marketing initiatives. Provides leadership on specific assigned tasks, as listed below. Ensures marketing activity follows corporate standards and corporate goals. Devises processes and produces materials and programs to meet communications needs.
The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in corporate communications with sound analytical skills and should be a strategic thinker and planner simultaneously with a passion for innovation. First-rate written and verbal communication skills are required as well as strong skills in planning and process orientation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Promotes the GZA message on marketing themes and Best Practices. Oversees, and supports, as assigned by the CMO, communications and marketing activities for the Corporation including internal presentations, sales campaigns writing support, collateral, promotion and other marketing efforts. Coordinates and directs Marcom staff as needed
Manages, writes and edits all employee communications inclusive of newsletter articles, news updates, project descriptions, emails, company collateral materials, material for Human Resources as well as varied communications
Takes proactive steps to ensure adequate QA/QC for all marketing materials for content accuracy, grammatical correctness, and compliance with Corporate image and messages
Manages corporate Webinars, securing guest speakers and coordinating, managing and assisting with developing presentations
Coordinates and manages selected tradeshows from concept to completion using Best Practices. Takes proactive steps with show attendees to maximize tradeshow effectiveness by working with assigned technical/content support from Sectors and Practices. Develops and manages preconference mailings to contacts in attendance at the conference. Works to assign monitoring of ROI post-conference. Works with Sr. Marketing Information Manager and office staff/conference champion to secure booth and presentation materials.
Coordinates and manages corporate newsletters. Gathers, reviews, edits and contributes articles. Also reviews design and linking functionality
Manages and hosts a monthly conference call with office Liaisons nationwide to direct their support of Corporate goals
Partakes in special projects and participates in cross functional activities
Manages Marketing vendors from assignments to payments
Support CMO in collaborating with business leaders to streamline, coordinate and improve communication with all employees
Secondary Responsibilities:
Supports and assists practices with client-based webinars.
Monitors corporate association memberships in order to consolidate membership costs
Provides oversight for the Photo Library and the Company Store
Reviews and provides input to website edits
Monitors and responds and/or forwards emails received on website
Coordinates and contributes to HUB data management
Within CRM, manages lists and sends eblasts to contacts for marketing and sales effort

Position requirements:
Requires 10+ years in communications and marketing
Strong writing, analytical and interpersonal skills
Previous experience in collaborating with all levels of company staff and marketing programs, preferably in an AEC environment
