The Town of Sahuarita is seeking a dynamic Public Works Director to oversee an extensive Public Works Department which includes Streets, Wastewater Utility, Engineering/Architecture, Facilities Maintenance, Construction,  and Administration/Billing. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who makes sound decisions based on analysis, stakeholder input, personal experience, and best industry practices. The Public Works Director must be a collaborator who actively engages employees at all levels and an excellent communicator who can work effectively with elected officials, Town management and staff, outside agencies, the media, and the public. The ideal candidate is a visionary who is able to anticipate and design infrastructure that meets the community’s future needs
