Serves in an executive level position that is responsible for the overall direction, administration, and management of the Public Works Department which includes Beach & Parks, Engineering, Fleet Management, Public Facilities, Solid Waste, Wastewater & Reclaimed water, Stormwater Management, and Streets & Drainage.  Responsible for providing professional guidance and technical assistance to improve service delivery and infrastructure development and maintenance. The Public Works Director plays a key role in the development of the city's capital improvement plan, prioritizing capital projects and construction contract oversight. Serves as the City’s Engineer responsible for all engineering services (civil, environmental, traffic, etc.) including design and construction supervision
