Who are EBL Engineers, LLC and EBL Fire Engineering?  We are a small firm that has been around for fifty years originally focused on mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering.  Our EBL Fire Engineering subsidiary was established in 1988 to focus on providing fire protection, building code, and life safety design and consultation.  EBL Fire Engineering was originally founded as Hanna Fire Engineering in 1976 by one of the University of Maryland’s earliest Fire Protection Engineering graduates.  Since that time, we have continually provided fire protection consulting services to the built environment.  Our clients include the military, federal and local governments, hospitals, commercial developers, educational institutions, building
