Seeking a qualified candidate to lead the Quality Management System at steel producing facility. This individual will be responsible for maintaining compliance to standards and driving improvement to the system.
Develop and administer Quality directives, programs, processes, procedures, and controls to ensure that quality systems conform to company, customer, industry, and governmental standards.
Plan and conduct internal/external quality system audit program.
Ensure timely and proactive corrective/preventative action implementation and verifications.
Lead and or participate on functional teams working on process compliance and/or improvement activities.
Monitor and reports trends in Quality performance metrics and the impact of process improvements through management reviews.
Collect and analyze quality data relating to internal and external audits and investigate root causes to identify potential improvement opportunities with the responsible managers.
Review risk management assessments as input to investigations and communicate potential risks of non-compliance or non-conformance.
Provide technical guidance, training, and quality engineering support (including statistical analysis) to project teams and others responsible for investigations and compliance activities to resolve quality problems in development, production, or as requested.
Lead cross-functional teams and training efforts in the development of CEBOS program with the quality system.
Preferred Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years experience in Quality Management Systems or auditing.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 17025.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
ASQ Certified Quality Auditor or Engineer.
Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field is preferred.
