Carnegie Mellon University's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) invites applications at the Assistant Professor level for an innovative faculty member in environmental engineering, sustainability science, or systems engineering (www.cmu.edu/cee/research/eess-research.html). Outstanding candidates with expertise in the integration of chemical, biological, geological, or climate sciences with data science/analytics, emerging chemical and biological technologies, water resource sustainability in coastal and inland systems, interactions between natural and engineered systems, sustainable infrastructure, resource recovery, circular economy, or other emerging areas are encouraged to apply.
