Position duties encompass business development, leadership of projects, and project management. Candidates should have experience working with clients and ensuring client satisfaction at the highest levels. Candidates will work closely with the senior project manager and marketing staff in the development and delivery of proposals and presentations. Typical project responsibilities will include developing project scope, budget, and fee for services; contract negotiations; staff management and scheduling; and client communication. The position requires the application of engineering design techniques and principles on a variety of both public and private civil and site projects as well as water/wastewater projects.
Minimum Education and Licenses
BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering with at least 2 years of progressive experience in the management of engineering projects and/or personnel
North Carolina PE licensure or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire
Valid North Carolina driver’s license
