Transpo Group is looking for a highly motivated Experienced Transportation Engineer who wants to join a dynamic organization with a lot of room for growth. This position project manages, and delegates work to junior level staff and is accountable for staff performance in managing the workload and quality control of the projects. The role has contractual and technical responsibility for a project. This position offers autonomy and a continually-growing responsibility on the team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to craft a persuasive argument
Assimilate and analyze engineering related data such as plans and specifications and cost estimates and draw conclusions or make recommendations concerning assigned engineering problems or projects.
Solid proficiency of technical tools (i.e. Synchro, HCS, etc.) to direct staff, as well as provide individual technical analysis
Given a contracted project, manage to the budget, schedule and scope to deliver high quality services on time and budget
Manage client expectations and satisfaction and solicit feedback to improve client service
Identify project risks and suggest risk management strategies
Determine project budget requirements in relation to personnel, materials and equipment necessary to complete or carry out work of a proposed project or program for projects.
Lead corporate or organizational strategic initiatives with other senior leaders
Demonstrate the company values in your work and interactions with others
Provide constructive feedback to project team and motivate others to perform well
Create the strategic plans and lead proposal efforts
Develop network of professional contacts and clients, partnering with senior staff to build relationships
Secure new clients, by identifying opportunities and leads using advanced market intelligence in order to expand business’ profitability
Contribute to company’s sales and backlog goals
Represent Transpo at conferences or workshops

Minimum 5 years experience in engineering or related industry
Minimum BSCE (Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering)
Demonstrated project management and client relationship building skills
Strong technical skills and knowledge of industry software pertaining to transportation analysis (Synchro, Highway Capacity Software, AutoCAD, Excel, Word, etc.)
EIT required, PE preferred
