Opportunity: The Company requires a top professional to bring expertise and be part of the senior management team. The EVP Operations (EVP Ops) leads the overall operations of the business on a daily basis as well as driving the growth strategies of products and services. The EVP Ops manages full profit & loss, provides leadership and management to ensure strong operational controls, quality, and reporting systems so that production is on schedule to the required standards of quality, cost, delivery, and safety.

Prepares, manages and communicates the operational strategy in support of the overarching company strategy
Implements and manages the operational budget
Brings vendor selection experience to ensure reliable quality, availability and value is consistently achieved for all outside materials and services
Understand industry product applications and appropriate pricing/margins to achieve full product value
Reviews, develops and reports on key performance activities for the operation
Ensures all current quality, safety, and service practices and policies are developed, maintained and communicated across the organization
Ensures the operation adheres to applicable laws, audits, and regulations
15 years of experience in a Senior Management role gained from demanding production environment in engineered steel or building products manufacturing or similar background
Independent and hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environment
Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems
Strong business and commercial acumen with experience in managing P&L
Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence and deliver through others
Aptitude in sound decision-making and problem-solving in pressure situations
Ability to comfortably and energetically present the company and its products publicly
Ability and willingness to travel as business deems necessary
Ideal candidate will be a driven and entrepreneurial leader with business and commercial management experience, and background in engineered steel products or building products industry. Production experience will include knowledge of best practices in operations management, demand planning, distribution, plant maintenance, organizational effectiveness, business management, and project management.
