Qualified candidates will have an agricultural or civil engineering bachelor’s degree at a minimum with a master’s degree preferred, California PE registration, and experience with analysis, modeling, planning and design of hydrologic, water supply and drainage systems. The candidate should have superior analytic and problem-solving skills and the ability to express technically complex information clearly orally and in writing. Additional desirable qualifications include background in production agriculture, familiarity with agricultural water suppliers, and experience with spatial analysis, development of surface water budgets, groundwater analyses, flow measurement, management of hydrologic data systems, and regulatory compliance.
