Kleinfelder is actively seeking a Construction Materials Testing and Inspection Project Manager in our Seattle WA Office. A Washington Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 4 months of employment is required.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven construction and materials testing and inspection experience.
Our Seattle Construction Services team has a strong multi-year backlog of challenging projects that is actively growing. We are looking for a leader, who has a minimum of 7 years of experience related to construction materials testing, inspection, and construction support services.
The position's responsibilities include leadership of multi-certified inspection personnel working in the Transportation, Water, and Commercial sectors.
Position is responsible for:
- client development and proposal preparation,
- project management,
- report writing, and
- engineering oversight to the lab manager and inspection personnel.
- The successful candidate will bring strong verbal and written communication skills, an understanding of the services being provided, and a proven ability to lead teams.
Experience: 7 – 8 years of related experience, 4 – 5 years project management experience preferred and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations required. 1 – 2 years supervisory/management experience desired. Certifications or registrations (P.E.) as mandated by profession.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
