The City of Roseville’s community-owned electric utility, Roseville Electric Utility, is now seeking a Power Engineering Manager. This position reports to the Assistant Electric Utility Director and oversees the assigned operations of the Power Engineering Division within Roseville Electric Utility, including power engineering and design activities, and new services functions. This position requires a high level of knowledge in electrical engineering planning, forecasting, design and construction as applied to electric utility projects, and/or private development projects. A typical candidate will have five years of increasingly responsible professional engineering experience related to electric utility operations, including two years of supervisory responsibility, a bachelor’s degree with major course work in electrical engineering or a related field and registration as a Professional Electrical Engineer. The monthly salary range is $10,164 to $13,620; placement within the range is dependent upon qualifications and experience. Five years of increasingly responsible professional engineering experience related to electric utility operations, including two years of supervisory responsibility.
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in electrical engineering or a related field.
Possession of a certificate of registration as a Professional Electrical Engineer
