Details: Full time position within the Facilities Services Department to address energy and facilities strategies in support of the educational, sustainability, operational and maintenance goals of the university. The position is to identify and assist in the evaluation of these strategies to ensure optimal use of energy and water as part of the university’s commitment to reduce the university’s carbon footprint in a financially responsible manner. This may be accomplished by identifying energy conservation measures, assistance with new building design, identifying and supporting retrofit projects, improving facility operational and maintenance strategies, utility consumption and rate evaluations, etc. (please see link above for full job duties)
Salary Range: $71,000 - $80,000

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited program.
Five years of experience in energy management, mechanical and/or electrical systems design, construction, and/or maintenance, or closely related field.
Five years of experience in institutional, commercial and/or industrial type facilities in engineering.
Experience with building automation systems.
Master's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited program.
Seven years of experience in energy management, mechanical and/or electrical systems design, construction, and/or maintenance, or closely related field.
Experience with commissioning and retro-commissioning.
Significant experience with building automation systems.
Experience working with students in an educational environment
Registered Professional Engineer
LEED AP - Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
Energy Modeling experience
